Visit to Diehl Metering’s HQ

The Executive Vice President of TTE, Dilip Sharma, accompanied Eng. Faisal Alsarkal, Director of the Water Department, and Eng. Mohamed Almheiri, Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA), on a factory visit and test inspection at Diehl Metering earlier this month.
During the visit to the factory in Ansbach, the team received an overview of the roadmap for Meters & Connectivity, and participated in the sample selection of HYDRUS 2.0, a static ultrasonic water meter designed for domestic cold-water supply applications, enabling accurate measurements over the long term under challenging conditions. At the DIEHL Metering headquarters in Nuremberg, a presentation on MIOTY®, a unique wireless communication protocol created to address the limitations of other Low-Power Wide-Area Network (LPWAN) solutions, was followed by an insightful discussion with the DIEHL Metering team.
